How to Assign, Reassign, and Unassign Drivers


Assign/Reassign Driver to Unassigned Orders

Method 1: Drag From Order Well

  • Step 1Go to the ‘dashboard’ tab on the web
  • Step 2In the order well, click on the six dotted area of the order that we want to assign to a driver and drag it to the required driver in the Shift planner.


Method 2: Right-Click in Order Well

  • Step 1: Go to the “Dashboard” Tab in the web app.
  • Step 2: Right-click on the order you want to assign/reassign a driver
  • Step 3: Click on Assign Driver to assign a driver, and click on Reassign Driver if you want to reassign a driver.


Method 3: From the Load/Delivery Order

  • Step 1: Click on the unassigned order from the order well to open the order details.
  • Step 2: Click on the “driver name” box pencil icon to edit the name of the driver. 


Reassign Drivers

Method 1: Drag From Order Well

  • Step 1Go to the ‘dashboard’ tab on the web
  • Step 2In the order well, click on the six dotted area of the order that we want to assign to a driver and drag it to the required driver in the Shift planner. For reassigning drivers, a confirmation pops up as shown below. 
  • Step 3Confirm to reassign the order to a new driver


Method 2: Right-Click in Order Well

  • Step 1: Go to the “Dashboard” Tab in the web app.
  • Step 2: Right-click on the order you want to reassign.
  • Step 3: Click on Reassign Driver to reassign the order to a new driver.


Method 3: Right Click from Shift Planner

  • Step 1: Go to the shift planner, on the timeline of the driver you want to move the order from
  • Step 2: Right click on the order you want to reassign 
  • Step 3: Click on assign to other driver to reassign the order



Un-assign Drivers

Method 1: Right Click from Shift Planner

  • Step 1: Go to the shift planner, on the timeline of the driver you want to remove the order from
  • Step 2: Right click on the order you want to un-assign 
  • Step 3: Click on un-assign and send back to order well to move the unassigned order back to order well


Method 2: Right Click from Order Well

  • Step 1: Go to the ‘dashboard’ tab on the web
  • Step 2: Right-click on the order you want to un-assign 
  • Step 3: Click on un-assign driver to un-assign the order
