Grace Time Settings
Grace time settings determine the shift timeline view of tasks for the drivers.
FleetPanda app has 2 settings for each tenant that define how drivers can see their tasks in their timeline.
Grace Time Before
This determines how much time duration a driver can see tasks in the past.
Grace Time After
This determines how much time duration a driver can see tasks into the future.
Now the grace time after and before affects how drivers see the time based on whether the driver is on shift or off shift.
- On Shift/Active Shift: This means that the driver has started his/her shift/tasks in the app. For any On-shift drivers, the grace time after and before comes into action based on when they started their shift. Example: If Driver A started their shift at 10am in the morning, then based on the grace time setting of before 5 hours and after 10 hours, he/she will be able to see all of the tasks within the time range of 5:00 am to 8:00 pm for the day.
- Off Shift: The driver has not started the task in the app. Based on off-shift, drivers will see the tasks based on current time. Example: The same Driver A, if was not on Duty and checked the app at 8 am in the morning, then based on the grace time settings of before 5 hours and after 10 hours, he/she will be able to see all of the tasks within the time range of 3:00 am to 6:00 pm for the day.
