How to set up auto-email delivery tickets?


You can set up auto emailing of delivery tickets under either of the two circumstances:

  • On Completed StatusThis is after a driver completes an order.
  • On Verified StatusThis is after a driver has completed an order and is verified by the dispatch. Once the order status is changed to verified from Completed, the delivery ticket is sent.
Note:
There is an option to set a time duration, after which a delivery ticket will be sent. This will apply to all the customers. For example, if we set 5 mins, and the delivery ticket is to be emailed on completed status, the delivery ticket will be auto-emailed 5 mins an order is completed by the driver.

How to set up email contacts for auto-email delivery tickets? 

Method 1: At the ship-to-level (POC)

  • Step 1: Right-click on the ship-to and choose edit to add auto-email details to the POC of the ship-to.
  • Step 2: Under delivery instructions, check the boxes for auto-email delivery ticket and attach BOL which is optional.
  • Step 3: Under the POC details, check the box ‘email delivery ticket’.
  • Step 4: Click on the update button to update the auto-email details.


Method 2: At the preference level

  • Step 1: Go to the Customers tab.
  • Step 2:  Select the required customer.
  • Step 3: Click on the “Preferences” tab to open the POC details.
  • Step 4: Fill in the POC details as required.
  • Step 5: Under the preferences details, check the box ‘email delivery ticket’.


Key notes on setting up at the preference level:
- You can only set up one contact per customer.
- The Contact under this “Preferences” will receive auto-email for all the ship to locations under the customer without having to set the contact in each ship to.
